We believe that when it comes to your health, your waist measurement is important. While body mass index (BMI) is a good way to tell if you are a healthy weight, it does not tell the whole story. If your BMI is over the healthy range, this means that you are probably carrying extra fat. But did you know that your health could be at greater risk depending on where you store the fat? We store spare body fat under the skin and also around the vital organs in our abdomen. Fat around the abdomen causes more health problems than, say, fat carried around the bottom or on the thighs, but, that can be an eye-sore. Regardless of where do you store the excess fat, we have ways to help you with.

It is important to know that there are actually two different types of fat: visceral and subcutaneous. Visceral fat refers to the fat resides deep within the torso, wrapping itself around your internal organs like heart, liver and other major organs. It is sometimes referred to as “hidden” fat. A healthy or balanced diet with moderate to high-intensity exercises that keeps your heart rate in an aerobic zone help to reduce visceral fat. On the other hand, subcutaneous is best defined as the fat that you can see, the “fat bulges you can pinch”. Subcutaneous means “beneath” (sub) “the skin” (cutaneous), and it is no secret that this fat resides all over your body, in some places – your belly, thighs, underarms. They may be ticker than in others, but for the most part it is everywhere, even on the soles of your feet.
A moderate amount of subcutaneous fat is essential for life. For one thing, it keeps you warm in cold weather. But too much of it can be bad, starting with the fact that subcutaneous fat functions as a visible sign of being overweight or obese. It is so hard to get rid of your subcutaneous fat through healthy diet and regular exercise.
Worse still, it makes us lose confidence in our body image (which studies show leads to even more dangerous health behaviors). The good news is that subcutaneous fat responds immediately to freezing temperatures. Keep reading how we can help you…
How we can help you…

1. CoolSculpting®
CoolSculpting® is a revolutionary and an FDA cleared non-surgical body contouring treatment that freezes fat, causing the body to remove the dead cells, which then is naturally eliminated from your body. It uses a cooling process known as Cryolipolysis, where fat cells are targeted without damaging healthy skin and tissues surrounding the treatment areas.
CoolSculpting® is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese, but it treats fatty areas that do not respond to healthy diet and exercise. The fatty areas are the noticeable fat bulges in certain areas of your body which you would like to get rid of. It involves no needles, no special diet and no supplements. And most importantly, no downtime! It is very safe, effective and medically proven to permanently eliminate up to 25% of fat in the treated area. With just one treatment, it takes 30 to 90 days to see the full results as your body naturally dispose the fat cells through excretory processes.
CoolSculpting® is recommended for stubborn fat elimination in the areas as such:

• Flanks;
• Upper and lower abdomens;
• Upper back;
• Lower back;
• Inner thighs;
• Underarms;
• Chest – male only;

2. Laser Lipolysis
Special Nd YD laser is used to sculpture the body by lysis of the fatty cells and drained by the lymphatic systems. Minimally invasive technique which effectively removed the unwanted localized fat area.
Smartlipo (aka Laser Lipolysis aka Interstitial laserlipolysis (LASERLIPOLISI®)) is one among a range of power-assisted liposuction techniques. Other names you might have heard of are Vaser and Endotron etc.

Minimally Invasive
Smartlipo is a minimally invasive technique for removing localized subcutaneous fats. The Smartlipo's laser bursts the membranes of the fat cells when it comes into contact with it. A fiber-optic laser delivers this laser under the skin. The fats cells are transformed into an oily sludge-like substance or "debris", which is then "eaten-up" by macrophages (large white blood cells). The "debris" is then processed in the liver where they are eventually eliminated in the stools imperceptibly.

Suction of Lysate (Melted Fats)
We prefer to suck out the lasered material called "lysate." This markedly accelerates recovery time. Some areas like the chin and male pseudo-breasts we might not suck out the lysate. In these areas, the body is able to clear it quite fast.

NB: We use a low-power suction pump so no fat cells, blood vessels or nerves are yanked out. Only the oily-sludge is drained out.
The best results are seen in the areas that are normally resistant to dieting and physical exercise. We can melt areas of fat anywhere between 500mls to 3,000mls. This is only limited by the amount of anesthetic in the "tumescent-techniques solution". We stay way below the known toxicity levels of the anesthetic drugs. Other doctors might offer Smartlipo for larger areas and use more tumescent solution, but we differ on this point predominantly for safety reasons.

Before After

Before After

"Healing-tissue" occupies the areas where subcutaneous fat was destroyed, and as such the area may appear the same size or sometimes slightly larger.
It is only after 3 months that the "healing-tissues" fully reorganize. The overlying skin is also contracted when the "healing-tissues" contracted. Hence there will not eventually be any loose skin.
One should expect the changes only becoming visible 1 to 3 months after the Smartlipo. But right from day 1, most patients can feel the areas as already having less fat when squeezed between the fingers.

If further reduction is desired, it cannot be done within 4 months of the first procedure as there will be a lot of blood vessels and hardened tissues in the "healing-tissues".
Advantages of Smartlipo
We have chosen Smartlipo after studying the pros and cons of various methods of liposuction. Here are some key points:

Minimal downtime
A few of our patients even return to work immediately, almost like a "lunchtime Liposuction". Of course we normally advise a day or two of rest.

Minimal discomfort
During the procedure, there is no pain. After the anesthesia has worn off, it only feels like the aches and pains that follows a vigorous workout. This is unlike in traditional liposuction where a patient feels as if a truck was driven over the body. The bruises too are much less with Smartlipo.

Less traumatic
The fiber-optic cannula is inserted through a small puncture in the skin usually along creases that conceal the scar. As the laser melts the fats, it also coagulates the loose ends of small blood vessels. Compression garments are optional as the area will not bleed very much after the laser is removed. The granulation tissue (healing-tissues) does the rest of the work in contracting the treated area as well as the overlying skin.
Almost "normal" skin after 3months
It would be very hard to find the insertion points or tell by looking at the skin that any liposuction has ever been done. Skin contracts with the healing-tissues that replace the melted fats.

Smartlipo is safer than traditional liposuction because there is less bleeding and anesthetic drugs used. In fact, in doing the procedure under tumescent technique, we have eliminated a lot of risks normally associated with general anaesthesia.

3. Carboxytherapy
It is known as “get gas shot and loose the weight” in the market. It is an injection of liquefied CO2 gas to a layer of unwanted fat in order to destroy the hypodermic fat by direct decompose of fat cells and absorption. Effective for local obesity and to minify face, chapped skin, stretch marks, cellulite and skin care.

Why many patient prefer carboxy therapy?

• No pain, no bleeding
• It is a “lunch time” therapy which is only short time required
• Possible to work immediately after the treatment
• There is no side effect
• It is possible to use at certain part where is imposible to treat with liposuction
• Reasonable price
• Effect can be shown in a short time

What is Carboxytherapy?

Carboxytherapy Therapy is the new, simple and proven technique that can dramatically improve the appearance of cellulite by improving local tissue metabolism and perfusion. Treatments are rapid, comfortable and effective for a high percentage of patients.

How is Carboxytherapy Therapy performed?

It is a non surgical method. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is infiltrated into the subcutaneous tissue through a tiny 30G needle (0.3mm in diameter). From the injection point, the carbon dioxide diffuses easily into adjacent tissues.

How does the carbon dioxide work?

Carboxytherapy Therapy works in two complimentary ways. Firstly, and quite simply carbon dioxide mechanically kills fat cells. Secondly, it also has a strong vasodilatory effect (causes dilation of blood vessels) on the capillaries in the area. Wider vessels mean bigger and stronger blood flow to the area, which means more oxygen. The increase in oxygen is important because it eliminates the built up fluid from between the cells. The end result is fewer fat cells and firmer subcutaneous tissue.

Is it painful?

No. Some patients can experience a light tingling sensation near the injection site. It disappears within a matter of seconds. As a result of the increased circulation, the area surrounding the injection site may feel warmer for 10 to 20 minutes.

What should I avoid after treatment?

Avoid emerging in water for 4 hours after the treatment such as baths, swimming, or saunas.

How many sessions are necessary?

Between 15 and 20 sessions are necessary to eliminate cellulite. Ideally they should be carried out every other day, although sometimes two or even one session per week will be enough. This will depend on the extent of your cellulite. Each session lasts between 10 to 15 minutes.

How many sessions before I see an improvement?

After the 5th session you will see that your skin looks noticeably healthier. Around the 8-10 session mark, you will appreciate that your subcutaneous tissue is firmer. Before the treatment program ends you will have firmer, cellulite free skin.

How long do the benefits last?

This depends entirely on you. If you choose to follow a healthy diet complemented by regular exercise, the cellulite can stay away for years. If you tend to succumb to culinary temptations and never quite find the time for that 10km run, the cellulite will return much quicker. On average, it'll be 5 to 6 months before you see it starting to creep back in. It's best to nip it in the bud at this stage. If you're vigilant, 3 to 5 sessions will get you back to smooth firm skin.

Isn't carbon dioxide toxic?

No. Carbon dioxide is naturally produced by the cells in our bodies every day of our life. It is a by product of metabolism. It is transported in the blood and exhaled through the lungs. In a study done published in the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal, no important side effects were linked to CO2 treatment. The study found that CO2 therapy is a safe therapy with no relevant side effects. Because of its lipolytic properties and positive effect on skin elasticity, CO2 therapy could play a useful role as a complement to surgical liposuction for the treatment of persistent skin irregularity.

4. Vellasmooth
The velasmooth combines gentle light (Infra Red) and radio frequency energy (ELOS) with mechanical rollers and Vacuum suction to manipulate the superficial fat tissue layer that contributes to cellulite.. The heat from the light and RF energies increases metabolism of this fatty layer and shrinks the size of fat cells. The mechanical rollers and vacuum suction act on the blood vessels to increase circulation to the local area, as well as massaging the skin to achieve a smoother, less dimpled surface appearance.
The initial treatment series consists of 10 treatment sessions – twice a week for 5 weeks. Maintenance treatments are typically done once a month after the initial series in order to keep up the results achieved.
This treatment can be use as an adjuvant after 1 month of Liposuction procedure. It help to correct the cellulite and achieve a smoother skin.

Beautiful Body

Achieving a smooth appearance to problem cellulite areas was once a challenge - either endure invasive, often painful procedures, or invest time and money in questionable topical treatments or diets.
The VelaSmooth™, powered by elõs™ technology - the combination of radio frequency and light energies, plus tissue mobilization with gentle suction - has changed everything. This is the FIRST and ONLY medical device PROVEN to safely and effectively re-contour the skin surface to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

How does elos work?

Elos is the only technology that reaches deep enough into the fat tissue to effectively improve the appearance of cellulite.The light energy pre-heats the treatment area. Simultaneously, a gentle suction aids in the deep penetration of the radio frequency energy into the fat tissue - redistributing and increasing the metabolism of the fat tissue. In addition to reducing the appearance of cellulite, and re-contouring of skin's surface, the VelaSmooth also provides the added benefit of improved circulation, supporting overall health.

Does it hurt?

No. Cellulite treatment with the VelaSmooth is painless. Many patients compare treatment to a warm, relaxing massage. Treatments require no sedation, so this is a no-downtime procedure.
Expect the best only from the VelaSmooth. Simply put, elos is proven to be the safest, most effective and comfortable solution for cellulite treatment.

Generally, we put on weight every year when we are making the transition to adulthood, as we shift to a more sedentary lifestyle. In other words, you have less time for the gym or exercise. Furthermore, you may be hanging out at restaurants and bars with friends: Alcohol can add a significant number of calories to your daily intake. Also, the average Malaysian tie the knot around the age of 26, and married life is not always kind to your waistline. Despite all the factors contributing to the weight gain, we have solutions for you to maintain the healthy body weight and combat obesity

Almost 90 percent of us have stretch marks, and we want to get rid of them badly. Stretch marks appear when skin stretched by rapid growth (during pregnancy, or major weight gain or loss), and sadly, they do not snap back to the original state. How to prevent further marks? Weight control is the obvious biggie (and that should be a lifetime pursuit). Also, staying hydrated and getting regular exercise (which improves circulation to your skin) also help skin maintain its elasticity. As for all the belly rubs marketed to pregnant women for the prevention of stretch marks, so far there is no scientific evidence to back-up those claims. Therefore, your best bet for diminishing them is a procedure that slowly removes layers of the scarred skin tissue, or a chemical peel.
